Bad, The Golden Compass, 2007, In Theatres ----- The 1995 book The Golden Compass is the entry point to Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy—a series of fantasy novels aimed at children that loosely draws inspiration from John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost. This time around, however, "God" gets overthrown and the "Fall" becomes the source of humankind's redemption, not failure. Source:pluggedinonline.com
Good, Facing the Giants, 2006, In Stores ---- It's hard to think of something in Facing the Giants that isn't positive. His new outlook fires up players who had become accustomed to losing. And he takes special care to cure the team captain of a bad case of cynicism. Source:pluggedinonline.com
Good, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, 2008, In Theatres------Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are summoned back to the Castle of Cair Paravel. In Narnian time, many years have passed since their reign; the castle lies in disrepair, despair prevails, and once again a hidden danger is stalking the kingdom. We read the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and the movie followed the book well. So hopefully, Prince Caspian will be great. Source:pluggedinonline.com
